Gamecocks look to be in good shape with Shelby NC, DE Jonathan Bullard. Coach Spurier is set to visit Bullards mother this week. It seems to be down to Clemson and the Gamecocks. I feel like we bring him in as long as there is no major coaching changes.

Meet me at the Quarterback

That was the idea and goal this year for USCs, defensive line and more time than not that is where they met. Each Saturday they had a meeting place and that was the front face of the QB or maybe the side or back of the QBs head.
Many times over the year you have heard, Ingram,Clowney or others say they told each other" meet you at the QB" and the next play they were there, ready to congratulate a team mate or make a play. The stats and accolades speak for themselves. The amount of turnovers caused by this defense was amazing and when they got them. They seamed to force them when we had our backs to the wall. The defensive front proved they can dominate any Offensive line this year, they also showed us that they can cause turnovers. Another thing they proved is if they say, they are going to meet you some where, you better run.

Bin laden Dead

USA killed Osama Bin laden in a raid. He is Dead.

Tupac Is Alive

Tupac Shukur is still alive in my book. I do not know if he is here in person but through his music he lives forever. People are always saying they wish he was here. Well he is. The same thing is happening now as did 15 years ago.

Clowney is a Gamecock

Clowney Picked USC and he will have a huge effect on the team.
1st The attention we have received the last week is a big plus to our exposer factor. And shows it is OK to come here. The Glass has been Shattered.
Now to the Football angle. This kid will get his share of sacks and tackles and make plenty of great plays on D. He will also help on our Block teams. But what has not been said enough is he will have a indirect impact that will be huge. It will take 2 guys to even try to block him. Everyone will know where he is at anytime on the field. This will make our blitz stronger than we can imagine. One word "SpurBlitz". We will also get more picks. Because we will not need to blitz as much. I can see Clowney doing a lot of different things on D. Think about this, dropping him into coverage.
Last he may play on both sides of the ball. Wild Clowney, never know. But make no mistake his impact will be HUGE.

Is Clowney A Tiger Now

There has been a lot of speculation that DE Jadevon Clowney is going to commit to Clemson on his birthday. Dabo Swinnie has somehow gotten the tigers back in the mix. All is just rumor as of now and no one will know until feb. 14th at 1025.

Clowney, Gamecock Bound?

The University of South Carolina is poised to sign the number one prospect two years in a row. Jadevon Clowney a Sr. DE at South Point high may announce his decision tomorrow. He has said he will announce on Feb. 14th, his birthday. But he may want to get it over with. Clowney is believed to be a SC lean here in the closing moments. Basically every School in the Nation has offered the talented linemen. AL has been the biggest spur in the Gamecocks crawl. With Sabin throwing everything he had at the young man from Rockhill S.C. the Gamecocks are still the favorites in the Clowney sweepstakes.
